SPRAY TAN PRE-CARE
How to prep your skin for the most flawless, long-lasting glow
Your tan develops best on perfectly clean, balanced skin. Proper preparation is everything.
24–48 Hours Before Your Appointment
• Exfoliate thoroughly using a gentle scrub or exfoliating mitt
• Shave or wax (if needed) at least 24 hours prior
• Avoid Dove soap, body wash, deodorant, or lotions — Dove leaves behind residue that blocks the tan from absorbing evenly
• Do not use bar soaps, oil-based washes, or moisturizing body washes
The Day of Your Appointment
• Shower with a clear, oil-free, sulfate-free body wash
• Do moisturize with a water based moisturizer
* Do not use body oil, deodorant, perfume, or makeup
• Do not wear tight clothing; arrive in loose, dark attire
• Avoid sweating, workouts, and hot tubs before your session
Clean, dry, residue-free skin allows the solution to adhere beautifully for a smooth, even tan.

SPRAY TAN POST-CARE
Protect your glow and extend the life of your tan
During Your Development Time (Before First Rinse)
• Avoid water, sweat, rain, or any moisture
• Do not apply makeup, lotion, deodorant, or perfume
• Wear loose, dark clothing
• Avoid sitting on leather, sweating, or sleeping directly on white sheets
Your First Rinse
• Use lukewarm water only
• NO soap, scrubs, or body wash
• Rinse until the water runs clear and bronzer is removed
• Do NOT pee in the shower for your first rinse — urine changes the pH of the skin and can cause patchiness, fading, and discoloration
Gently pat dry. Do not rub.
⸻
After Your First Rinse
• Begin moisturizing 2–3x daily using a tan-safe, oil-free lotion
• Avoid Dove products, bar soaps, or oil-based body washes — they strip the tan
• Use gentle, clear, sulfate-free body wash only
• Avoid long hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and chlorine
• Avoid exfoliation until your tan naturally fades
Hydrated skin = a longer-lasting, more even glow.
